You know, we used to build ships and other things literally at a level that nobody's ever seen, and we haven't. We've eased up, and I would say that the UK certainly eased up, but now we're going to be uneasing both, and we work together. Once again, I want to thank Prime Minister Starmer. He's been terrific for his partnership in this matter, the special relationship and external bond.

It's really an external and an internal bond between our two countries will soon be stronger than ever before. And we really do. We have a great relationship. I want to just say that the representatives of UK have been so professional. And it's been an honor doing business with all of them, and in particular the prime minister.

The Dow Jones all up today. They've recovered everything they lost since Liberation Day. Things are actually going really, really well. This whole thing about GM, the CEO saying that they're going to be there's going to be a five billion dollar cost to the tariffs. But she also said something very important. She said this will not be passed on to the consumer. So where is it going to come from?

You might wonder. Well, they brought down their projections. Not all of it will be. She said none of it will be passed on to the consumer, that this will come out of the profits. They projected 14 billion profits. They're taking that projection down to 10 billion. This is what we want. This is what we want. We want tariffs. We want manufacturing. We want the billionaires to pay their fair share.

And we want the cost not to be passed on to the consumers. And that's what we're seeing. Such a great example.

Hold on. Let me just... Let me just try to understand this. So GM's profits will decrease probably significantly as a result of this. Let's take that. I'm telling you what they said. I'm just saying. Zero to Republican in seven seconds. What do you think is going to happen when GM's profits suddenly drop? What will happen to GM and the people that work there?

The CEO herself, Mary Barra, thanked President Trump for this because she is a patriot. And she understands that the situation we're in with China is not sustainable. Shareholders would like to have a word. We sold out our future to China. Somebody had to do something about that.

The Press They're going to ask me about that when I get there, and I'll have to make a decision. I don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. I don't know if feelings are going to be hurt. I have a case right over here. It's called Gulf of America. And I guess a lot of people get ideas from us. But the Gulf of America was something I thought should have been named a long time ago.
