Data has been championing data fabric for some time, and the platform abstraction enables for partners and customers built to build solution across our data fabric.
It doesn't matter if your data fabric endpoint is ONTAP or SolidFire or E-Series or not to be able to build solution against those without knowing the platform specific details.
And the protection services enables you to seamlessly move data from on-prem to the cloud.
It doesn't matter where you're in point, your data can be seamlessly moved across.
So that's the beauty, that's the simplicity that SLM brings in from a data fabric, executing some of the data fabric vision that NetApp has been championing for some time.
Yeah, actually, the SolidFire, we want to extend our data fabric coverage.
We are bringing in SolidFire support in future.
And also, what we are doing is that, you know, one of our powerful tools for data fabric monitoring is OCI, on-command inside product.
So, we are building, we are bringing integration with OCI product as well.
So, with that OCI,
you get to see from with SLM, you got to be able to provision and do a data movement across your data fabric.
And with OCI, with that integration, one should be able to see and monitor the data fabric, do the analytics, to be able to do a reporting.
So the combination of, and also most importantly, you got to be able to monitor and troubleshoot.
If at all there are issues, you should be able to troubleshoot through OCI.
So the combination of SLAM and OCI gives a nice end-to-end solution for any customer using an adapter fabric.
So if you're sold on SLM, we want you to reach out to, if you're already NetApp customer, it's very simple.
Just log into your support site, look for a service level manager or look for NetApp service level manager and download the product.
As I said, by default, you get all the standard capabilities and you can try it out, play around with it.
And if you like it, if you would like to extend to an advanced capability, you can always reach out to your sales and SE team.
And as I said, some of the paradigm here is based on service design workshop that Evan runs.
