The entire settlement was $3.2 million.
So that kind of led to everybody being like, oh, Alex was stealing from clients.
And then it turned into, I think he stole a total of $10 to $15 million from clients.
But the Satterfield family, the craziest part about it is that I really believe, and I've met Tony and Brian, glorious sons,
And I totally believe that if he would have just given them $10,000 or $5,000, that would have been life-changing for them.
But he wouldn't give a dollar to them, and that was really the reason why he got exposed for it.
all of his crimes.
It's crazy.
Not from him.
So Eric Bland, the Satterfield family attorney, has actually given them, recovered $10 million for them from various people who were involved in the settlement, like the insurance companies, the banks, et cetera, that should have stopped it.
There were lots of
Ways to stop this settlement from happening and to stop it from going directly into Alex's pockets.
But the funny part of that is that like Alex himself never had to give a dime to them.
And I kind of hate that.
