Were people doing this that you knew of before you started doing it?

I didn't know of anybody doing it.

I just, yeah, like you said, mostly you have one of two options.

You have grass if it's raining enough or you're feeding grain if you need to fatten your animals up.

And we weren't getting a lot of rain.

I wasn't going to feed grain because I

I didn't start farming to raise fat, unhealthy animals for meat.

I wanted to raise healthy animals.

So it kind of forced me to think a little bit differently and get resourceful.

It's a really cool place.

They're doing all the right things.

The whole cliche motto of know your farmer, shake your farmer's hand and all that.

But they're actually doing that.

They came out to my farm.

They saw my practices, looked over my rotational grazing, fed out juice pulp with me.

And so it was really cool.
