I actually have a problem with Taylor's cover.

I don't want to say anything bad about her.

I know.
This is going to be controversial.
But I talked about how much I love that D major chord.
She plays a D minor chord instead.
Well, I'm being a little facetious.
I think it's a beautiful cover.
But I guess what I really want to ask is what it's like to write a song, release it into the world, and then you're not in control of it anymore.
Yeah, you're not supposed to be.
I feel like that would give me some anxiety, honestly.
I would say, you're doing it wrong.
You would get over it.
See, that surprises me because a song with such a personal and poignant backstory.
Is that attitude something you try to foster in terms of the reception of the band in general too?
Something I came up when I was researching, there was a SNL skit a few years ago about Hey Soul Sister.
I guess there was a skit also on SNL.
