As soon as I hear those drums, it's like an announcement that this album is gonna sound different than what you're used to.

Wow, really?

Well, the clarity of it, the liveness of it, it feels like you're in the room where this is all happening.

And even before you start singing, I'm already sort of primed emotionally because there's this like texture and grain to the sound that we don't hear in a lot of music.

And I say that without any shade.

I think the hyper compressed and...

vivid sound of a lot of multi-track popular music like we've been talking about is really powerful.

But there was just something so organic and so present about even just the first seconds of that song that I found really emotional to listen to.

So to me, I think

This is kind of experiment that you've done is something that I want to keep listening for.

And I'll be curious to see what other artists follow that playbook as well.
