I got a rare ride in the muscle car, Damo's Camaro.

It is an amazing machine.

It sounds brilliant.

So from Channel 9, he dropped me here in the South Melbourne studios to do the Sunday rub.

And the thing that has surprised me, the thing that has surprised me as I was driving...

This is an automatic car, and you know how some automatic cars, you can still drive it as a manual by pushing it sideways and then back to you?

Our man, Damien Barrett, thinks that he is some sort of race car driver because he still drives it as a manual.

I could not believe it.

You know he gets awkward at times because he is socially awkward.

And I was realising I was driving on a stick, but I just do it out of habit.

I wasn't even aware I was doing it because every other car I've had has been a manual.
