this is what good footy clubs do and they've absolutely been there for him and equally he's been there for them and that's what's happened now in the past two weeks particularly in the last in the first quarter last night's game but it was the round 13 win against Geelong where he was there throughout the match and he kicked three goals in that game as well including the the one that was effectively the one that won the game late in the piece at one of those long 55 meter bombs from a set shot
And he's got license, Howie, too, to basically run anywhere he wants.
It's not ever articulated to him by the coach or the runner sent out to him.
He just says, I'm going to go forward now or I'm going to go into the middle.
And that has been a storyline for what he's been able to do this year as they now get themselves to a scoreline of eight wins, five losses.
The size of this game tonight for the Gold Coast Suns, Nate Damo, Chief, called them last week against Brisbane and they were never really in the game.
They didn't get beaten by that much, but I think Brisbane kicked the first four and it was catch up from there.
It's a tough task to come down to Geelong and win, but to fully frank this football club, they're going to have to start winning some of these games.
Yeah, I think it is a huge game for the Gold Coast.
I think it's an even bigger game for Geelong.
They've lost a couple of close ones and they've lost the last two.
And all of a sudden, that aura of Geelong, they need to stay in touch.
They need to stay in touch with the top four because it's very hard to win outside.
