Thursday morning trading is underway on Wall Street with investors focused on headlines from the Middle East and lots more earnings this morning.
That is the sound of the opening bell from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange.
At the open, the S&P 500 is higher by two-tenths of 1%, adding to its record from yesterday.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average is back above the 50,000 level, a gain of four-tenths of 1%.
The Nasdaq composite's higher by a tenth percent as well, and crude oil continues to fall.
West Texas Intermediate's down four percent, trading above $91 a barrel as the U.S.
and the world wait for Iran's response to the latest peace proposal.
Iran is said to be reviewing a one-page memorandum of understanding from the U.S.
that would have both sides lift their naval blockades and leave nuclear negotiations for later.
