And back here in the U.S., Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick testified to the House Committee investigating Jeffrey Epstein's crimes and possible lapses in the law enforcement response.

Secretary Lutnick's testimony was challenged by Democrats who questioned his credibility and accused him of not being truthful about his visit to Epstein's Island.

It was just contortions and lies and no acknowledgement that he misled the American public.

House Oversight Chair James Comer says Lutnick was transparent, testifying before the committee voluntarily.

It was a closed-door testimony.

The committee plans to release a transcript in the next few days.
