The war with Iran won't last much longer.
That's what President Trump is telling the New York Post in his latest comments on a conflict that's come to the end of its first full month.
The president tells the paper he has, quote, obliterated the country, and he thinks the Strait of Hormuz will open automatically once the U.S.
leaves.

All this follows a series of Truth Social posts in which the president urged the U.K.
and other allies to, quote, go get jet fuel that's stuck in the Hormuz Strait, blasting France as well for blocking its airspace to military planes headed for Israel.
The Wall Street Journal reported that the president's told his aides he would be willing to end U.S.
operations even if the Strait remains shut.
