I just love this ring.

This was the beginning of Denise and I. This ring was the first gift I ever gave Denise.

It was less than a month after we started dating.

It's got a heart on it with a really tiny stone in the middle.

It's kind of hard to imagine that this $40 ring ultimately was one of the biggest pieces of evidence in the whole case.

It takes me back to the happy times, but at the same time, it does take me back to the worst day of my life.

What do you remember about getting up and getting going that morning?

Typically in the morning, I would try to be as quiet and ninja-like as possible, getting ready for work and leaving.

Because Denise, as soon as she would wake up, she'd be awake.

I was working a bunch of different jobs and just trying to make sure that she could stay home with the boys.
