Again, going back to, if you believe government, if you believe the state is salvation, and it should invade every aspect of your life. This is the one thing where it feels like the American people, we never actually had a conversation with the American people about what form of government they wanted.

It was just a slow-moving regime change, I would argue, a slow-moving revolution against the Republic over the last 100 years. People are under the illusion we have some representative democracy, constitutional republic, when in fact we don't.
