Yeah, but he gets caught basically through these biometrics, which I mean, I think a lot of people who have a sort of older passport won't have had to give this information, but it is part of... Well, actually, no, he wasn't caught through the biometrics, because the biometrics on his card were genuine biometrics, because it was a real passport card.
So he gets caught then because he has his genuine fingerprint then, does he, on his genuine biometrics, which also matches another fingerprint that has a different name, basically.
Now, he is obviously prosecuted and he gets quite a serious sentence because I do think there is a recognition in the courts now that these offences are to be, you know, that you are going to end up in prison.
And of course, there is a statement given to us from the department who like highlight this fact that the Irish passport is particularly trusted and that's obviously of benefit to the state.
Yeah.
So, I mean, he's been treated harshly.
Now, well, not harshly, but he's been treated.
He's certainly been given a serious offence and it's treated as such.
Now, Mr. Kerrigan is sentenced to life for this in the UK.
I don't, you know, it's probably approaching...
his release date.
But we don't have any further updates on that yet.
A genuinely horrific case and it's amazing that these ones that they get kind of forgotten and when they come back up it's very tragic for her family.
