The Atlantic needs to,
It's what we've been trying to do, right?
We went from a couple hundred, you know, when I started, we were at 850,000, 800,000 subscribers.
Now we're at 1.4, like we got to get to two, right?
Like we've got to be bigger.
We've got to be successful.
We've got to consolidate our wins, you know, because you're in the middle, you're toast.
And so totally, that's where I'm going for.
That's a super good question, right?
So we do have a disadvantage in that we've always been a general interest magazine, right?
We were founded to be a general interest magazine, you know, politics, literature, and the arts, right?
So we are supposed to be about a lot of things.
And that is not...
Like general interest publications, Time, Newsweek, a lot of them are kaput, right?
And so we're not going to give that up.
We're not going to specialize.
We're not going to become just a political magazine or just a science and tech publication.
We are going to stay true to our nature.
Like we have to be what our founders said we should be, right?
And we will be that, you know, as long as we can be that.
