So every VC firm stopped investing in March, thinking, I wonder what's going to happen.
Then they saw that the world wasn't collapsing, and they say, shit, we've lost three months of investing.
We need to find these good companies.
So all of a sudden, out of the blue, I am getting tons of calls from VCs.
I'm vacationing in France.
The people come and say, your dinner is paid for.
You're out of money.
No, not our money.
By then, we bootstrapped.
We were making money.
So I could pay myself dinner in France.
And the guy comes and says, it's paid for.
And a free bottle of wine.
I'm thinking, Salina, right?
I think it's not my birthday.
And perhaps she always forgets my birthday anyway.
She would have known, it's one of these VC firms.
