And they made this really good analogy that I actually shared in the Slack channel, the general Slack channel this past weekend. And there's this saying that life is a marathon. It's not a sprint, which I wholeheartedly believe in. I'm all about playing the long game. and in being patient. But there's a difference between being patient and being complacent and procrastinating.
And they made the distinction. They're like, yeah, life is a marathon. It's not a sprint. But in order to be the best, it's going to feel like a sprint. So you look at Kipchoge running the marathon, the best of the best. Go try to run one mile at Kipchoge's marathon pace. It's like a 4.30, 4.33. Yeah, you won't make it. You won't make it a mile.

Unfortunately not. Yeah. When I got to Fort Hood in 2014, I was a infantry platoon leader, and I lived about 30 minutes away from Fort Hood. So I had to be at work by 6 a.m. So I'm waking up at 4.30 a.m. every morning, and I'm getting to work at 6 for a quick meeting. And then by 6.30, we're stretching out for morning PT, and we do that for an hour.
