No, we spoke in the three-quarter time huddle that we wanted to attack the last quarter and take the game on.
We felt like we were playing a little bit too safe and probably a bit boring, to be honest.
We wanted to free up a little bit, and on the back of that, I felt like I was able to get into the game.
I thought my first three quarters were...
A little bit poor.
Pressure around the ball wasn't there and that's where I wanted to start my game and fortunately we're winning out the middle.
Thanks to big Oscar Steen who was awesome in the ruck and I was probably the beneficiary of his work.
Yeah, we're at the Shrine today.
So amazing morning.
Sort of sets the tone for the week and a few of the Bombers boys are here and a few of us Pies boys are here so it's quite nice.
Absolutely not.
It's been amazing.
We've had past servants come and speak to us about the day and the significance of it, and Darcy and Andy McGrath just laid a wreath.
So, yeah, it's been a big start to the morning.
It was an early rise, but every time this week rolls around, you're quite grateful to be a part of it.
I don't feel like it comes down to me whether we win or lose I feel like we've got a great system and great team balance and any number of our players can step up when needed I feel like sometimes when it's my time to step up I'm able to do that and when other boys it's their time like Jamie Allen in the last quarter for example he was unbelievable too converting two massive goals everyone sort of has their moment to shine and I feel like that's why we're such a good team we're well balanced and really spread the load well so
So for me, there's no pressure individually going into games, feeling like I have to perform amazingly to get us over the line.
I feel like I just need to do my role.
And like I said before, I think if I get the pressure game going, that's where I feel like I can drive the energy of the team.
So going into every game, it starts with a defensive focus and felt like I was poor there in the first three quarters.
