So it's not going to quite hold back any credit growth or any, you know, the ability for people to get those loans in the next couple of months, but it still might later on through the year.

And so I think it is still one of those factors to acknowledge as something that'll keep a check in house price growth this year, but maybe it's more of a second half of the year of the story rather than the first half.

So I think that's probably the main outtake from that perspective.

But I think, yeah, that detail is so good to,

to have nailed down now that we've had that conversation, that we can see where the data is tracked.

And, you know, I know you've had some suggestions for how the Reserve Bank might want to, you know, report on it or be clear about it or report to in the same chart or whatever it might be, like some of the loan to value ratio rules are done.

I guess we'll wait and see if that might flow through to the transparency of reporting at some stage in the future.

Not to say it's their fault.

Like I said, it was caveated in the data, but they can still maybe for consistency sake and just to make it really obvious, they could probably change a few things.

So we'll wait and see what happens.

Personally, had a pretty busy weekend.

Headed up to Auckland on Friday and happened to be lucky enough to be hosted by ASB at the ASB Classics.

I get to go watch the tennis with a few other

banking connections which was a really cool afternoon great weather decent tennis action and just great to you know spend some time at a very cool event up in Auckland so very privileged there and that was great to connect with some of the people in our industry as well and hear what's going on and you know that generally there's some positivity hanging around there's no doubt about that but stayed the night Friday and then rented a car and took off to Whangarei

um to spend time with my family of course my younger brother um is turning 40 and so we had a little celebration with our family on Saturday so yeah she's been a busy old few days drove back to Auckland yesterday afternoon flew back last night so yeah very happy that we have uh Wellington anniversary today and not much going on other than recording the podcast of course which as you know I don't like to miss our Mondays if I don't have to

um so here we are but yes it's been a busy old couple of days and um that's that's outside of trying to keep track of what's been going on the sporting world where you know crazy crazy news really with the all-black um all blacks making the call to give her to scott robertson midway through her tenure last week um but in more happier news in the cricket uh obviously going pretty well over in india and the odis daryl mitchell's just on an absolute tear at the moment and

And last night they, you know, won the game to win the Series 2-1, first ever time they've won an ODI Series in India.
