Okay, according to the Nature Communications Journal, a majority of human beings prefer to turn left.

And science has no idea why.

One study found that given the choice to turn left or right...

80% of human beings chose to turn left.

Another one using kindergartners at a Japanese school found that 75% of them choose to turn left, not right.

It doesn't matter the culture, the country, most of us turn left if given the arbitrary choice to turn left or right.

It doesn't even matter where a majority of us are righties.

We all tend to turn left, it looks like.

We apparently have a natural bias for moving in a counterclockwise direction.

No hypothesis yet as to why, but the next study will hopefully tell us why we all go lefty-loosey.
