you're trying to put the best version of yourself out there um i don't know if like you're able to separate that when you're working out or you just like when i get home i worry about it or you know it must be hard yeah no i i kind of separate that and um yeah i was i was getting in the you know i was starting to get into the mindset like okay if i don't sign if i sign after pitchers and catchers report i have to start

um lining up uh live vps uh trying to get establish that spring training schedule even though i'm home so that um when i do sign i can roll right into whatever progression i would have been in if i was in camp where were you were you arizona miami miami yeah yeah and so um yeah so i mean even still i came into camp you know ready to go i threw a live

So I've followed my progression as if I was going to

I have a regular spring training and thankfully I came in just in time.

I don't know how you felt going through it.

I felt fine.

Yeah, I mean, last year was exciting, I think, obviously.

I mean, you had a good year with a good club.

Yeah, it was an okay year, you know, not my best, not up to my standards, but again, I felt like, you know, again, just jumping back and forth in different roles, helping the Reds, you know, helping that young team get into the playoffs.

A lot of it was, you know, showing that these guys, they have the ability to compete at the highest level in the playoffs.

And so I think it was, you know, a good step in the right direction for a young club.

Yeah, so, again, you know, with the Rays...

Super excited to work with this pitching staff and the coaching staff.

Obviously, they have a really good reputation in getting the best out of their guys and able to communicate what they do really well and give them direction so that they can achieve that.

Working with Snide, playing for Cash, I've heard nothing but great things, so I'm very excited.
