We spent a decade with Mark Stoops, a defensive grinded out.

We're ready for change.

We're ready for something new.

We're ready for some excitement.

You can do that with defense too, and that's what Jay Bateman's going to do.

I think the thing that's – the sword cuts both ways.

It's great that he's kept some mystery around exactly what he's going to do.

That's great for Alabama.

I think it kind of hurts us because we're like, well, what's – we're not giving them their due.

We're not giving them their hype.

I think his defense is going to be pretty good.

I think his defense is going to be pretty solid.

And the way that Bateman wants to play is not the way Mark Stoops wants to play.

It is the exact opposite.
