I mean, let's just think about that.
I mean, the polar bear, bro, I wouldn't mind seeing him over at Duke Strikes.
I really like that guy.
I think he understands what New York is all about.
But to see him get the contract that he wanted over there at Baltimore, I was really happy for him.
But I just think in general, I think you have to assume that everybody got better.
Because if you go into it thinking that nobody's made any adjustments or made any changes from the year before, I think you'd be caught behind the eight ball.
You have to go into this season realizing and expecting everybody to be at their best.
So in my mind, AL East is one of the best
divisions in baseball it always has been power aspect from the bats to the arms uh like i said man it's going to be a battle this year there's no doubt about it uh but i think aaron boone and the staff and the guys uh they know what they're up against uh and i think they're ready for that challenge
I read an article about you recently getting ready for this interview today, and you're a father of two girls, I'm a father of two girls, and you talk about softball and your oldest daughter, Emerson, playing softball.
So I have to ask you, so coming up this Saturday, for the first time ever, I'm going to be an assistant t-ball coach for my five-year-old daughter.
What am I getting into?
it's going to be like herding cats, bro.
It's going to be like, but the one thing I will say is I'm in the same position as you.
I'm an assistant coach.
I haven't quite made myself up to the ranks of a head coach quite yet.
But once again, the fact that we're able to go out there and spend time with our daughters doing something that they love is an absolute blessing.
And so for someone like me who stresses the fun, the passion, the excitement, just getting out there and giving everything you have, because talent can only take you so far.
So being able to be a mentor to these young women out there, giving them, you know, some excitement, letting them know how good they are.
