I ended up making the United States national team where I actually played with Blue Jays star Trey Savage.

And so it's really cool to see him on that high platform, but I got a chance to play with him.

and the summer of 23 at Team USA.

And then I went to go play at Dallas Baptist in 2024.

Thought the draft was going to happen, but didn't work out in my favor.

So I ran out of D1 eligibility, went to go play Division II baseball at Angelo State University.

And to be honest, I was done playing baseball.

I worked a desk job from August to December in Nashville, Tennessee, selling computers.

And I had an opportunity to go try out in Nashville, actually.

And...

I'd heard about it through the draft.

So the process is you have to send in an application.

There's about 3,000 people that send in applications.

And then 300 get invited to four different tryouts over across the country.

So mine was in Nashville.

I dressed up as a Ninja Turtle.

And, you know, it's one of those things where your pride gets thrown out the window really early.

I had to walk through Vanderbilt University dressed up as a Ninja Turtle.

So...

That's when I kind of knew I'd be prepared for this kind of thing.
