Now, Clyde, during the Willis-Reed game, had a 36.7 rebound, 19 assists game seven of the finals.

That game trumps even this one.

But,

So you can argue that this isn't the highest peak, that Clyde's was the highest peak, but it's at least eye to eye with it.

So I don't know.

Ewing's resume and Clyde's as well, for that matter, and Willis Reed.

Willis Reed did win MVP.

They're just deeper, sturdier resumes.

But as far as peak, Brunson can go peak for peak with any of those guys.

And as far as

Clyde and Willis Reed, who are top four Knicks ever, had each other.

Ewing didn't have anyone like that, but Ewing didn't get over the hump.

Brunson just did.

And so if he's not already the greatest Knick ever, he will be.

And he is the most important Knick ever.
