And that's how I remember that team.

It's actually really interesting, though, because I never thought about that.

I always went on the pitch knowing that we'd win.

Absolutely.

I've never heard Phil swear, but he goes, fucking hell, this guy really trusts us, you know?

And I never thought about that.

Honestly, never, ever.

Regardless of how we lined the team up, I never felt that we were a weak team.

I always felt that we were the best team and I always felt that we were entitled to win because that's how good we were.

And yeah, you can argue that if you go man for man,

probably find better players somewhere.

But as a group, it was an unbelievable group, and it was led by an unbelievable manager.

And obviously, most of the time that I was there was Brian Kidd, which I still consider to be the best coach I've ever had.
