Now, he's a man called Ulysses Mendez.

He's 30 and he is from California.

He's not alone, though, because only the other week as well, somebody was caught with 400,000 euro worth of cannabis in their luggage.

And there's been a couple of other cases before the court's

A day ago, an actual fact from when we're speaking today, there was a man in his 20s caught with 15 kilos of the drug in a suitcase.

They're just chancing their arm.

Because the bang of it, how could you get it through the... Well, you have to have a vacuum-packed

Drug mules have always gone way back, have always been poor people who have been sort of used or taken a chance to get rich quick.

And the get rich could be something to us, which would be like a month's salary, but in their world and in their country, in their environment.

that's going to change their lives you know what I mean it'll allow them to open a business or a lot of them the drug mules that you see going through the courts over the over the years and if you speak to them in the aftermath they have a dream and it's just to do one run and to make enough money to go back and to pay for the health care for somebody sick in their family or to you know open a souvenir shop and in where they live or whatever so it is driven by poverty this and this taking of a chance it seems ludicrous to us that you'd pack a suitcase with

that amount of cannabis herb and expect to get through airports.

Because we do have a minimum.

I'd have needed to smoke the whole lot and be cool and calm enough to keep myself.

Can you imagine?

I don't think that would make me calm.

No, I would be absolutely, it would make you even more paranoid I suppose, yeah.

You'd be like, okay, take my suitcase.
