And you have to have more head count at the end of the day to be able to manage that.
You have to invest into that.
It makes a lot of sense for the right brand that is planning on investing like long term into the future.
But I've also seen it gone exactly as you say, awry a lot of times where people will start that process and not realize how much true investment goes into their own logistics.
Yeah, the reason you can pay $1.50 per unit at some
3PL is because they're working off such volume.
And for you, that $1.50 can translate into five, $10.
That eats away at profitability very, very quickly for a lot of people.
Question on my mind from that, when you're kind of looking through a lot of this and kind of looking at the
future of just the industry of warehousing, you know, I think of obviously, like Amazon, for instance, who has their FBA facilities, they released last year, their AWD facilities, we now have Walmart, who has obviously their retail stores, but is also investing now in their own Walmart fulfillment services, right to be a fast.
And so we have all of these big players in online situation that have their own fulfillment.
But then there's also such widespread amount of
fulfillment centers, there's three PLs, you know, UPS having their own one, they have where to go.
And then you also have companies that are dedicated to just things such as like, you know, Amazon FBA prep, they don't even, you know, do actual fulfillment outside of that.
And all these different small little factors, where does your mind go as far as what fulfillment and what logistics looks like in five and like 10 years?
I didn't actually know that.
it's becoming almost more readily available i want to say to create your own 3pl in your own warehouse i mean you have companies for instance like ship hero right who basically just white label their entire software package i know so many different 3pls that that basically had spurred and it was you know i have a funny story of years back when i was consulting with a company and
they went from like a very small boutique 3pl provider and warehouse to ship hero and then they didn't like ship hero and so they did their own research and everything where like found all these different options and they picked one the name of the one was ship hype i immediately get in i start talking to them i'm just like this is just 3pl that they didn't like the software i'm like they use the same software it's the same thing it's just white labels
You can have that.
And I think that makes it so much like easier in this day and age for warehouses to spurt up diving a little bit off of the warehouse side of things.
