So let's go back to early January after the United States spirited Nicolas Maduro out of Venezuela.

It was striking.

It reminded me of the way Vladimir Putin talks about the world.

It reminded me of the way quietly, not publicly, Xi talks about the world.

In trying to establish spheres of influence and to establish dominance, is the United States just doing what Russia and China are already doing?

You said the United States is using force.

And I wonder to what degree you think that's true.
