I think, you know, they've unveiled plans today for the date of their planning application for the new stadium.
You know, we know they're aspiring to kind of top six football and Ancelotti kind of very much brings the aura of that.
But, you know, you look at Duncan Ferguson and you think game by game, if he keeps winning, could they turn to him?
I think definitely it's about aspiration over a reflection of their current status.
But obviously with the names they've brought in and the money they've spent, Gilfie Sigurdsson, Moise Keane, Theo Walcott even recently, Everton would see themselves as pushing into the Leicester bracket of knocking on the door of that top six.
Duncan Ferguson doesn't quite fill the same excitement levels, but what he does bring is that attitude and aura that we talked about with Freddie Youngberg at Arsenal.
Everton, it's been well documented, they made 37 tackles against Chelsea, which was more than they'd made over the last decade in any Premier League game.
And I think that's very much Duncan Ferguson all over, maybe a few elbows chucked in there as well.
Yeah, well, we understand that David Moyes is still a contender to come in as an interim charge.
At Everton.
At Everton, of course.
But I would question why, you know, they would turn to a man like him when they've got kind of an Everton man in Ferguson already in place.
You know, it feels like he's already kind of brought this uplifting mood and I would kind of stick with him for now.
Yeah, and I think Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is no fool in kind of referencing that when he talks about Manchester United.
We've heard him in recent weeks liken Rashford to Ronaldo.
We've heard him liken Greenwood to Rooney.
He understands the Manchester United DNA and what that kind of means to the fans.
And I think he's very smart in kind of...
using that as part of his mantra.
I think United fans will give him more time because of that.
