How are you?
Yeah, not bad, not bad.
I'm all good, I'm all good, I'm all good.
Just before we move on, because most people were tuning in for the beginning part, you would have seen yesterday on Twitter, the 11th of February, every year without fail, probably the last seven, eight years, maybe 10 years now, maybe.
I think it's probably eight years, seven years, to be fair.
I put a post out every 11th of February, and the Memorial game,
When that first started was around the 11th, and the 11th is an important day, but most of you are listening maybe don't know about it.
There was a game back in February, Millwall versus Southampton, and unfortunately on that day, probably the biggest loss to us as a fan base.
Eight lads on their way to watch it were involved in a multi-vehicle accident in Basingstoke or near Basingstoke.
So we're talking February 11th, 1978.
Those lads were Al Smith, Bob Bond, Bill Ward, Rodney Phillips, Stephen Metcraft,
john webb uh stephen bays and stephen king there is a plaque if you want to go look at it um which is in the memorial garden um many thanks to people on hof who raised the funds and paid for that um
I made a promise to one of their families years and years ago, I think during the AMS era, to be fair, that I'd make sure that Mill never forgotten, got the Memorial Day to be around the 11th, or as close to it as possible, and every year do that post.
because if you google it now you'll find that there is less and less uh news articles because it was way before you know the digital era uh and it's harder and harder to find so you know if you you're listening to it now and you haven't seen the post just check out it's a pinned tweet on twitter just you know forward it just keep it and just you know retweet etc because um
were eight lads who all died on the same day they were young lads uh some of their brothers um and family members and you know uncles etc um are you know on twitter and stuff and see this and i just think it's a nice way that we can keep their memories alive uh it is the 48 year anniversary this year obviously two years time would be 50 but
I just think we need to keep that memory alive because it is an awful lot of fans to lose in one hit.
So, yeah, that is the housekeeping before we move into the show because I know people look at the beginning and go.
So, coming up later then, we will look at the Danger Man.
We'll look at who we have to be wary of against Wednesday, our predicted 11, and a certain emotional return for...
for a club legend obviously where we're going so it's going to be ups and downs we've got lots and lots to talk about and uh as omar is on the show you know what that means 55 seconds see you in a minute language you don't usually hear on television millwall in london
