But if we're not going to the games and supporting them financially,
then can we moan when the club are looking some other route to be able to financially sustain them?
I mean, what I don't want to see is the Lionesses become a reserve team for the London City and I don't want them to become a feeder club.
I think the Lionesses have a historical right to be their own, but I think that maybe it would be very nice if the
the people in charge of the London City Lionesses, maybe help with get some sponsorship, help with some scholarships, help with some training sessions or something else towards them and help them that way.
Because, listen, they're in Tier 5 now.
If they can get back up into Tier 2, then they're on their own two feet.
But right now, it feels as if everyone's against them and they need a bit of support.
And I think that when you get to the Premier League, if you get into the Champions League, you have to have a professional women's team.
But I think in the lower leagues, there's no pressure to.
And I think they're now run by the trust.
And I think probably the trust gets funding and the club gives some income and whatnot.
But I think, yeah, I think, listen, I don't think you can physically change what's being agreed because you don't know the ways of the contract.
You don't know if anyone will become liable or anything else.
I think, look,
Am I going to go to the Chelsea game?
Am I fucked?
But I think what this potentially has done is created a talking point and created something that actually the benefit out of this is that the Lionesses should get more.
The lionesses need a sponsor.
The lionesses need some guidance.
