So he's showing us these films and I'm like,

There's a side of me tapping in that I didn't know that I cared about.

Right.

And then so from there, they had to add in a second teacher, you know, that way my brother and I can be taught at one time and my sister can be taught.

And so that was a lady by the name of Rochelle Nondorf.

I love you to death.

And, you know, while all this is happening, I'm developing a love for film through what Hernan is teaching me.

And then so I started to, like, daydream.

Like, I'm a real big daydreamer.

And then one day he sat a notebook in front of me, and he was like, listen, you're not here right now.

Whatever's in your head, just write it down for me.

When you get it down, can you come back?

I was like, all right, sure.

I just started writing, started writing, started writing.

And then he saw that I was starting to write a story.

So he was like, every day I'm going to give you 30 minutes to write your story.

Just get it out of your head.

And so next thing I know, I have like 120 pages of a handwritten story.

He then asked me, have you ever thought about writing scripts?

Yeah.
