So this is a book that was based, I think it was written by George Classen.
And you read the first chapter and you're like, what the heck is this?
Why has this sold a bazillion copies?
Who actually reads this junk?
Well, actually, once you get through the first chapter, it is amazing.
So I'm pretty sure that every single finance book ever written is based on this book.
Right.
The reason why is that the book draws its lessons.
So like save 10% of your income, pay down your debts to your family and all that sort of stuff.
This book is based on things that were written on stones in Babylon.
So like, I don't know, I'm going to say thousands of years ago, it was actually written on stones and they found some of these stones and then they've translated them and they made it into a book, which was written about a hundred years ago or more.
It hasn't changed.
These principles haven't changed.
So if someone comes up to me and says, this is the greatest, finest book ever written.
Well, I'd be like, well, I'd probably got all of its ideas from this book, which got his ideas from stones before they had paper.
