Another one is to cards, Christmas cards.
I went to shop for a birthday present recently.
I spent $14 on a Hallmark card.
We talk about being a captured audience.
You got ripped off, haven't you?
Yeah, because it was at Chadson's Shopping Centre in Melbourne.
On the way out, I'm like, oh, my God, I need to get a card for this present.
Go into the newsagents nearest the exit.
Sure enough, like, that'll do.
Damn it, was in a rush, had to go, didn't realize what I spent.
Did it play happy birthday as well?
It didn't do anything actually.
Got it, threw it out about two hours later.
Moral of the story is a letter is probably worth more than a card.
