And I tell you what, I was on the news on the weekend.
I was asked to answer some questions.
And I tell you what, when you're asked questions on TV, you just give the generalized answers.
You kind of just accept the status quo as much as you can because you don't want to ruffle too many feathers.
And not many people, when you talk about finance stuff like this, not many people will sit down and listen to some analysts talk about, or an economist talk about,
prices and the different variables that go into making a forecast and really sit there and think about it for five or ten minutes on their Sunday morning.
What they'd rather do is just read the headlines, as I imagine you and I do occasionally, just read the headline and go, yep, don't need to read that article, I got the idea.
But basically...
When a property expert conjures up a forecast, and I'm saying conjures because I'm picturing like a wizard with a cauldron and they're turning it around and they're throwing some frog legs in and they're throwing some other things in there and then it goes poof.
And then out comes this number.
It's like 32% fall.
Because I'll tell you what, from my side of the fence, what I know about investing in finance is that a lot of these...
And forecasts are kind of just, you know, it's more art than science.
That's for sure.
That's how I could put it, I guess, respectfully.
You know, you've probably heard someone come up to you and go, they've said, oh my God, did you hear about, you know, they said property prices are going to fall by 30%.
And then you could respond with, who's they?
And then your friend or whoever it would be, you just, they just say, I have no idea who they are.
But you notice how people who don't really know what's going on, they say they don't
They can't really recall who came up with the forecast.
