Pastor Anselmo Shima

My name is Pastor Anselmo Shima.

And I am originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

But I arrived in the UK since 2013.

And since my arrival, I've been here in Belfast.

So yesterday night, it was a very terrifying moment.

I came back with my son who was having his football training.

And then when we arrived home, 20 minutes later, the smoke erupted in our house from the windows.

The windows were opened.

And then my son asked me, Daddy, what is that?

I said, only the smoke.

Let's close the windows.

So I closed the window to protect myself from the smoke.

A moment later, the fire alarm went on and the building next to our house, the fire alarm went on.

And that was Skainos Centre, the place where the bus was burnt.

And the smoke was the one coming from the bus.

The smoke of the house went into my house.

I was just 50 feet away from the bus.

So the smoke went inside the house.

And then my son asked me, Daddy, where is this smoke coming from?

And I didn't know where the smoke was coming from.
