But there was really no surprise there.
People might have been surprised about the timing, but it was reported back in November that this was the likely outcome sometime this year.

Tim Cook is 65, perfect time to leave the CEO position.
And if you're going to do a 15-year term, what do you want?
A 50-year-old who's a senior vice president.
I mean, the stars align for this, for sure.
Well, I mean, this is a company that's been around 50 years and this is only the eighth CEO and, you know, only the third of this century.
So it is a big transition.
