You know, this is something that's done extremely quickly.

I'm told that these guys, you know, they got uniformed up, they went in, opened that door, took him down.

It's something like out of a textbook when they're, you know, dealing with

or when they're training other lads and how to handle these situations, how these guys did it is the way to do it.

Right.

So basically this whole incident lasted about two hours.

The other inmates were taken out.

They've obviously, they've been offered counseling because it is a traumatic thing to happen.

And Sean Powell was subsequently taken off.

He was put in isolation and he's subsequently been moved now down to the Netherlands.

What's his background?

Well, Sean Powell would be, he's 34 years old.

He would be somebody who's been before the courts on a number of occasions.

I think he's got in the region of 24 previous convictions for things like robbery, for possession of implements.

Many of those would be for driving offences as well.

Right.

But he's somebody that we have come across in the past.

We ran a story last October that he had been involved in an altercation with Devin Hennessy inside Mount Joey prison.

Devin Hennessy would obviously be one of the Hennessy mob from out in Blanchardstown.
