Not to the degree that we might have thought.

Like, I mean, you look at somebody like Sean Powell, who's willing to go up against Evan Hennessy, you know, I think people would have thought that that wouldn't happen.

But, you know, inside prison is very different to outside prison.

Yeah, I think there was a documentary to follow the guards around out in Blanchardstown inside the Cay.

And there was this now famous scene where you had one of the Hennessys standing inside the wall of his house and he's screaming at one of the guards about what he's going to do to him and saying, come on in here.

And he's literally playing to a crowd of younger associates who were around him.

And there was this

huge aura of fear around them out in Blanchardstown.

And if you like, maybe that was one of the reasons why Barry Moore was subjected to such a horrific ordeal, because they sent that message out to the rest of the community.

I mean, he was taken into a shed.

He was tortured and he was branded.

The source of that photograph was, I think it was a photograph that circulated initially on social media.

It's hard to know.

I don't, like, my understanding is that that photo didn't originate out where the incident happened.

It was a photograph that was maybe taken afterwards, after he had managed to escape from that reveal.

So I, you know.

It was just... Well, I suppose it also had a... Like, I mean, it also sped up the demise of the Hennessy mob in Blanchardstown.

I mean, the guards, you know, to be fair, had been taking serious action against them all along.

They had been, you know...

It's not an easy thing to take down a grouping like that.
