It was a bit of a death march, as it always is, because that's the time where you're really trying to bring everything together on a coherent sense, and you're very aware of that release date coming at you like a train.
But then that's using a different part of your mind, right, than you do in the first couple of years of development when you're thinking about story and characters and plot.
So in terms of that, I'm very ready to get back into that kind of stuff again, for sure.
I think I've had a...
yeah yeah the different parts of your mind you just kind of switch on and off and you use creatively um i think helps you in that sense so we're already working on the ps5 version so there isn't much of a time for it um for rest um and i'm yeah i wouldn't say i'm burnt out i don't think anyone on the team is like fully burnt out but uh it's a tough slog at the end for sure
Yeah, that is definitely there.
And there was a little bit more of that as well, seeing as the previous, Zam's previous game was so well received.
But I don't think you can focus on that too much, really, Jess.
I think you've got to kind of stay true to the storytelling, stay true to the characters and do your best work where you can.
But certainly it is like an unforgiving place once you release a game that someone takes issue with.
it's like doing anything in the public life right everybody has an opinion and if it's going great you'll probably hear a little bit but if it goes wrong everybody will tell you yes exactly i would say the gaming community might tell you a little bit more even than the other communities but uh yeah it's uh it's it's great to see the
passion with which this has been received and the way people are enjoying it, that's very, very gratifying.
And picking out moments and lines and characters that have excited people or engaged people, that the whole team loves to see that for sure.
We've seen a couple of good playthroughs already, really enjoyable playthroughs of people going through the whole story.
And all of that is very, yeah, gratifying.
I absolutely would.
Yeah, I would.
I mean, I had no experience whatsoever in making video games.
I just liked what this company was doing
And Zaum in particular is a amalgam of artists.
