First, realize that your partner's desire for safety isn't a personal attack on your ambition.

Too many people think their family is holding them back when they ask about security.

They aren't.

If you're used to risking everything on a daily basis, your baseline for stress is totally different.

Whether it's reinvesting profits, taking a risk, or working late, that reality only makes sense if you communicate the end goal.

If you demand they just get it, you kill the connection.

Second, don't drag them into the trenches.

People don't thrive when you dump your unedited daily panic onto them.

They thrive when they feel secure in your leadership.

So instead of bringing every minor business emergency to the dinner table, bring the vision.

Make your home a place of peace, not an extension of the battlefield.

Lastly, validate their reality.

When you acknowledge that the sacrifices they make to support you are just as real as the work you do in the business, resentment drops.
