That was, that was the greatest hockey game I've ever watched.
And, and I mean, I think it all goes back to Connor Hallibuck and you, you look at that paddle save on tapes and, and,
when he made that save i was like oh jesus this this reeks of uh when holpe for washington reached back and made one i think it was on alex tuck when when washington finally uh got to the top of the mountain so um it starts a net and i know that he'd been questioned a lot through these playoff runs he's been on and and a lot of regular season success but uh
for him to win the big one like that for his country, I'm sure is incredible.
And another guy who was probably criticized a lot after four nation was Jack Hughes.
And, you know, maybe didn't have the performance there that he wanted to, but I thought he was tremendous all tournament long.
And then ultimately comes through with the golden goal.
So yeah,
a lot of amazing takeaways from team USA.
Um, one of the, I'd say probably the, the, the top of the, the top of the list is just the way that they honor Johnny Goudreau, um, throughout the entire tournament and, and his family being there to win the gold.
And actually during the stream that we had, Jan's, uh, brought him.
What a move.
He actually brought him the Johnny hockey, uh, t-shirt, um, in order to represent it on our stream.
And, uh,
They kept fighting and got it done.
And you got to win with class and lose with class.
And I just want to congratulate the United States of America on bringing home their first gold medal at the Olympics since 1980.
