And so for me it was another audition.
And then you got through to the next round and then you got given lyrics to sing.

What was different about this was that we were all singing in front of each other.
I was used to closed auditions, whereas this was open.
Everybody was there, sat behind you, and people were cheering you along.
And there was so much talent in that room.
I thought I had absolutely no chance.
And I wasn't a professional anything.
I was a professional blagger.
I still am.
Like, I always say, fake it till you make it.
I think a lot of people are like that.
They just don't want to admit it.
And then there was a weekend in Birmingham where there was the final 50.
And then London.
And then that was a week.
And then there was the final 10.
