don't spend so much time bothering with the filtering folks on the apps.
And in fact, if anything, you know, there's something to be said for broadening the aperture for who you're meeting, because sometimes people will surprise you if you give them a chance.
Yeah.
I mean, to quote Jeff Goldblum again from the very same movie, you know, the that that chaos.
Right.
Is all about things that never tiny variations that never repeat.
and end up creating these fundamentally unpredictable pathways.
And this absolutely explains what it's like when people get to know each other.
It can be deeply unpredictable who you end up clicking with once you start to meet them in person and once you start talking with them.
And I'm not gonna sit here and say like, oh, anybody can click with anybody if they get sufficiently lucky with their initial topics of conversation.
But I think sometimes we underappreciate
The extent to which the right moment and a little bit of luck, finding a few things to connect over, can really do a good job of bringing people together.
The question from there is, do you have the time and the wherewithal to be able to capitalize on it to build something over time?
Relationships and compatibility, so much of it is constructed and it takes time.
And I want to go back to a form of dating where people get to do that.
