They very rarely get that wrong.
And that's what New South Wales got wrong, just winning the ruck, the speed around the ruck.

I thought the client would let it run like an old-fashioned game where he wouldn't be blowing the pee out of the whistle because with all the noise around him at the moment, the last thing he wants is to become the focal point, so he was just going to put the whistle in the pocket.
That's exactly what he did.

Their ability to slow down New South Wales at the ruck, there were times there both sides could not get out of their own quarter
Because the defensive lines were moving so quick.
But Queensland endured so much better.
