So, you know, you look at the Ray Floyd, you look at the Corey Pavin, you look at the Retief Goosen, you look at the Koepke.
That's the mentality.
They're gnarly kind of competitors.
They don't give much away.
And they just, they're just dogged.
And that's going to be the mentality you're going to need this week because you're going to hit lots of good golf shots that are not going to get awarded.
And it's not to be able to throw it ahead and realize that sometimes I'm not in control here and I've got to get up and down.
So I think that's the challenge for Scotty.
In terms of the rest of his game, look, I know he's not on the top level of where he was last year, but the bar was so high.
And again, you look back historically, even Tiger Woods, generally when he had one of his very best years, there was a flat period the year after.
You look at Jordan Spieth when he had his best year's flat period the year after.
It's generally what happens.
The expectations are so high after such a great year that there's a little bit of a flat period.
The guy's already won this year.
I think he's had eight top fives in the tournaments that he's played this year.
So he's not a million miles off.
But the big thing that I would see for Scotty is if we see more of what we saw at Murphy Village, like you described at the start there, of throwing ahead and fighting with the caddy and thinking he had a good shot and not getting rewarded.
well then, you know, he's not going to be the factor.
But if he is a Scotty who's well capable of being knuckling down and being gnarly, well then, you know, he's very much a factor because this test should really suit him being a brilliant short game exponent as well.
Yeah, it goes back to my point about a game of repetition and applying the fundamentals.
