Chances are there are people in your community or your family or species or a little forest that's about to be bulldozed by a housing development or people that need help getting out of poverty.
And instead of being worried about the entire planet's fate at all times, we're not built for that.
We're village animals.
We're not supposed to be worrying about the floods in Bangladesh at any moment.

Going out in the woods as a kid, I always wanted to be able to drink the streams.
I always wanted to be able to find a part of the woods that would just go on forever.
I'd go out and get lost, go camping by myself by like 12, 15 years old.
But then you'd come out the other side of a state park.
And I'd be like, man, like there's more roads.
