How long?
22-inch in a heavy barrel.
Okay.
That's long for an AR-10.
Most people stop at 20 inches.
I think not.
That's something you can sit in a place and just wait for them to walk by.
But I started my girls out with a Remington 700 in 6mm Remington.
And I bought a fiberglass stock for it.
And then I cut the stock down so it fit them perfectly.
And put a big recoil pad on it from Packmeyer.
They started shooting it at about 10 years old.
At first, I loaded 75 grain bullets up for them in the 6mm round.
That way, they didn't have too much recoil to worry about and kept the loads down under 3,000 feet per second.
The first guns they were shooting besides the .22 was a Remington Varmint gun, a .223, which between the two girls, they both were the barrel in that one a couple times.
Yeah, that one started about eight or nine years old at that time with that gun.
By the time they were 12, when they could hunt deer, the six Remingtons that they liked, they could shoot with.
Running with the scissors.
Good night.
Just a quick FYI.
