That he might go for a seven point scoring for you.
Something like that.
But not the guy that's going to be by himself going back and forwards with the entire other team.
Because if you can't play defense, then the entire other team's scoring.
And you don't have enough offensive firepower systematically to keep up with that.
And it's not reasonable to ask KD or anybody else for that matter to do that.
So, yeah, for me to eventually fully buy into this team as a real contender, as someone who has a real shot to beat Hill KC, I need to see them having the ability to lock in on defense and win, you know, a few games in a row or, you know,
7 out of 10 or something like that where they get close games or you can even be against poor teams but you reach the fourth quarter you reach the final five minutes and the team locks in on defense and you can survive from I guess few buckets from your stars because that's the way they won last year and that's why acquiring KD made so much sense because KD on last year's team would have easily been enough offense to get them you know awesomely to the finals who knows
Now, kind of repeating what I just said, but if the team can't get the stops on defense, then whatever production he's going to give you in the clutch is not going to be enough because he's not going to keep up with an entire other team.
What do you mean?
It does to some extent.
I guess how I feel might actually be answered a little bit from the question.
I'm about to take this off script a little bit.
I'm going to ask you a question, which is, who do you think wins in a playoff series between this year's team and last year's team?
And by how much?
Give me a series score so I know how confident you are in your opinion.
This year's team in seven.
I'm pretty confident.
In seven.
Yeah.
